Company`s history

Transbit Ltd. was established in 1987. During our first three years we focused on the production of the TeleAstra modular microprocessor systems of industrial automatics. One of our biggest accomplished projects in this area was the design and implementation of the integrated fire protection system for the licensed cabin paint shop room in the ZM "URSUS" factory. In the 1990s we added to our product offer sets of equipment enabling the construction of private telecommunication networks as well as primary multiplex units and cross-connects for backbone networks in public systems. We also began works on setting up the production of digital system equipment for special communication. After several years of preparation we became one of the suppliers for the Polish Ministry of Defense and since then have been systematically strengthening our position on special telecommunication market. At the same time we finished our first project and launched the production of digital communication equipment for public telecommunication systems such as PCM and ISDN standards.

The present day

Presently we employ over 90 highly qualified specialists, working in teams of constructors-designers, programmers, installers, servicemen and a specialized production division. Apart from the design and production of telecommunications equipment, automatics and diagnostic equipment with software, we also design teletransmission and data communication systems. We are also one of the very few Polish Ministry of Defence`s suppliers of special telecom equipment, used both in stationary and tactical systems, produced for military use. The majority of our products are manufactured in versions compliant with the extended harsh mechanical and climatic requirements (N14 group included, according to WPN). We also offer customized solutions, tailor-made to customers` needs and requirements.

Development Strategy

Owning to significant expenditures on research, development and the systematic implementation of new technologies, our products can successfully compete with those of the world leading producers of communication solutions. For many of us design and research are not only interesting work and a fascinating adventure. It is a real passion.

Cooperation

In our research framework we cooperate with the Military Communication Institute, the Technical Military Academy, the Industrial Telecommunication Institute, and with the Communications Institute. We supply communications equipment for systems manufactured at Military Communications Works No. 1, ZE WAREL and CNPEP "RAWAR".

Quality systems

In July 2003 we implemented quality management system, compliant with the requirements of PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 and AQAP-110:1995 standards in the scope of designing and manufacturing electronic equipment, telecommunication systems and software. The main direction of the company`s policy is the care to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction. This is achieved by providing customers with the highest quality products they expect of us. We put much effort to guarantee that every customer will receive the ordered product and want to use our service again. At the same time do our best to create circumstances conductive to the further development of the company.
